War Story
Very popular Drama film, truly unique one out there. War Story set a new standard for modern movie making. War Story stands out above all other films I've seen at least for last 5 years. War Story has one of the highest ranks in IMDB top movies. Unique directing by Mark Jackson - such great directed dialogue scenes. Skills of actors are just unimaginable, especially Hafsia Herzi's play. War Story has many original details and specifics that I really cannot get out of my head since watching it. It just set the new standard for Drama movies. You just have to see it.
Storyline of War Story
A war photographer, Lee goes to Sicily instead of going back home in New York to forget about being taken hostage in Libya. On the way, she crosses paths with her former lover and mentor Albert and tries to help Hafsia, a young Tunisian migrant escape to France. Lee realizes Hafsia has a striking resemblance to a Libyan girl Lee photographed just before, the incidental meeting evokes her memories about time of detainment in Libya…
