Yawara! for me is the best tv show of 1989. Yawara! is a great lesson in tv show making for all the newbie directors. It is not just "some" tv show, it has an eternal message. I saw this tv show many times, really many times. Film with best plot ever, best directing and really good chosen actors. Artistry of actors are just magnificent, no one give bad performance. You know what? Yawara! has changed my personal life in every aspect. I'm sure that Yawara! will continue to live for next 100 years. Yawara! is a living masterpiece. This tv show is an art, at it's very best form.

Follows the story of a Japanese girl named Yawara Inokuma over a four year period as she prepares for the Judo competition at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.
