Really fantastic Adventure movie, with deep message carried on. Popeye has literally no weak scenes. I still remember the first time I saw Popeye. It is a phenomenal, tense movie from the beginning to the end. Robert Altman is the person who made Popeye such amazing movie. Artistry of actors are just magnificent, no one give bad performance. Not many "excellent" movies that have ever been created, but Popeye, certainly is one of them. I'm sure that Popeye will continue to live for next 100 years. In 2021 you have to watch Popeye online.

Looking for the father (Ray Walston) who deserted him as a baby, a sailor named Popeye (Robin Williams) journeys to the port town of Sweethaven. Along the way, he vies with the rough Bluto for the affections of Olive Oyl and adopts the young Sweet Pea.
